"I’m just so satisfied with this purchase. First, next day delivery was great, Friday to Saturday, very fast! Second, the installation went smoothly, I just watched a couple of videos online and used my own tools, you also get some prying tools included so that’s great too. When connected I tested literally everything and especially the sound, since I heard people complaining about it but it’s working quite good. Maps, calls, Siri, music apps, they all work flawlessly. I had one situation where it lost the connection with CarPlay but I just went and turned off the car’s original Bluetooth and from that point no more hiccups. Screen mirroring also works good with some minor sound differences, but it is actually negligible. The size of the screen is sooooo good and I feel my car likes it a lot. I know I do! Btw it’s a BMW 1 F20. Big recommendation from me."

"I bought the linux unit for a 2005 530i with the giga obsolete MASK system as all i wanted was carplay. I used NSC Expert to code in the AUX which is a must if your e60 did not come with one from the factory. Saved me $80 from not having to buy the AUX activator and picked up the reverse camera. There will be unused plugs on the harness included so dont let that worry you. Install took 2 hours. Packaging was also nice and secure. Only complaint is that the reverse camera sometimes takes 3-5 seconds to initialize. First world problems am i right? Haha at least my 2005 530i feels like a 2024 530i. Also you can change the start up picture super easily. Theres a guide on YT on how to do it."

"Click to play video I have upgraded my dash screen. Super easy to install thanks to tutorial video. It takes less than 5 seconds to connect to CarPlay after starting the car. The backup camera resolution is very clear. The system is super responsive and touchscreen too. One more thing about it: I have Bluetooth, but just in case, I connected it with an AUX cable for better sound quality. It was totally a nice upgrade. P.S.: I experienced an issue with the time resetting after each start, but I found the problem. it was because I connected the fiber optic cables upside down. Once I connected them correctly, the issue was fixed. Also for backup camera, it works perfect after setting up correct camera resolution."
