"It is located at a distance of 19kms south of Ramghat. Godavari River emerges as perennial stream from rocks which is situated inside the cave and further it flows to other cave which is beyond it and all of a sudden it vanishes. A large rock of the river is said to be a form of Demon Mayank, who stole Goddess Sita’s clothes when she was having her bath. This demon Mayank was killed by God Laxman. In this Lord Rama and his brother Laxman held a court. At the entrance of the cave, beautifully carved sculptures of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva can be seen."
