"There were at least five dead, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava told a news conference. Three others are critically injured and two others are in hospital with less severe injuries, Miami Dade rescue fire chief Ray Jadallah added. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the Boeing 767 overran the runway at around 2pm (7pm UK time) after heading into Florida from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Flights have been halted, with all runways and taxiways closed. Around 60 firefighters were at the scene. The plane came to rest beside a road, with two lorries parked nearby. Amazon earlier told NBC in a statement: "We can confirm that an Amazon Air plane operated by 21 Air experienced an incident while attempting to land at Miami International Airport today. "This is a fast-moving situation and we're still gathering details. We're working closely with local authorities and officials to understand exactly what happened. "Right now, our absolute priority is the safety, well-being, and care of everyone involved. We're doing everything we can to support those affected." US secretary of transportation Sean Duffy posted on X: "We've issued a full ground stop at Miami International while first responders assess the scene after an Amazon cargo plane overran the runway. "If you're traveling through the area, please expect significant delays and potential cancellations." "Russell Howard has revealed his baby son Felix died shortly after his wife Cerys gave birth earlier this year. In a post on Instagram, the 46-year-old comedian called it the "most devastating time of our lives". Paying tribute to the hospital staff for their "extraordinary compassion, kindness and humanity", he announced he and his wife were setting up The Felix Foundation in memory of their son, to help other families facing the same "devastating circumstances". In his post describing their loss, Howard wrote: "Earlier this year, our family changed forever when our beautiful baby boy, Felix, died shortly after birth. "During the most devastating time of our lives, the hospital staff who cared for us showed extraordinary compassion, kindness and humanity. "They helped us navigate an unimaginable heartache and gave us support when we needed it most." He described the support they received from a bereavement midwife named Lauren, who had lost her own baby, adding, "her care meant more to us than we can ever put into words". Sharing further details of their time in hospital, he said, "Felix was placed in a cool cot which meant that my wife and I were able to spend precious hours with our beautiful boy. "Those hours are among the most precious memories we have of Felix." Howard will host a special charity gala at The O2 in London on Monday 8 February, to help launch the foundation. The show will feature comedy stars Michael McIntyre, Jimmy Carr, Aisling Bea, Guz Khan, Greg Davies, Mo Gilligan, Michelle Wolf and John Bishop. Howard ended his post remembering Felix, saying: "We miss him dearly, every single day but we take some comfort in knowing that his name will stand for kindness, compassion and laughter, and that his legacy may help other families through the darkest moments of their lives." The foundation will aim to relieve the needs of parents, siblings and other close family members affected by miscarriage, premature birth, stillbirth, neonatal death or related bereavements by providing funding for specialist facilities, training, or other forms of support. Howard and his wife, Cerys Morgan, an NHS doctor, married in 2019 and have another little boy who was born in the summer of 2024. Howard is best known for his shows Russell Howard's Good News and The Russell Howard Hour, as well as appearances on panel shows including Mock The Week, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Never Mind The Buzzcocks. He's also known for his live stand-up shows and two podcasts: Russell Howard's Five Brilliant Things and GoalLess."

"Littler had not played in a European Tour event since March, but roared to glory with an 8-6 victory in Sunday night's final to end his opponent's hopes of winning this title for a third straight year. Littler hit five 180s and averaged just over 95 as both players struggled in the heat at the PVA EXPO after a long day which had already seen The Nuke overcome Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals, Danny Noppert in the quarter-finals and Krzysztof Ratajski in the last 16. Czech Darts Open: All scores from PragueLatest Sky Sports deals or stream no contractListen to Sky Sports' Love the Darts podcast "It's good to be back and I'm back with a bang," said Littler after his victory. World No 1 Littler won the first two legs against world No 2 Humphries in Sunday's final, only to see his rival, who has reached four of the last five finals in this tournament, reel off three straight legs to take the lead. Littler fought back to move ahead with a 130 checkout in the ninth leg - the biggest finish of the game - and then won the next two legs to move 7-4 ahead in a race to eight. Humphries rallied to win the next two legs and was millimetres away from sending the game to a decider, as he wired two darts at D16. Littler recovered to pin D10 to win this tournament for the first time, taking home the £35,000 first prize and guaranteeing his place at the European Championship in Dortmund in October. That's one of the titles that Littler wants to win as he eyes a clean sweep of major trophies in 2026 - and it means he's unlikely to play in any other regular European Tour events this season. "I'm not sure now I've won this one," he explained. "I think I've secured my place in Dortmund. That's obviously the one I'm chasing. "In two weeks time it's the World Series in Amsterdam. We'll have to see what happens, what the plan is and how busy I am." Humphries had overcome Gerwyn Price, William O'Connor and Andrew Gilding earlier on Sunday to reach the final for the third year in a row, but he was not upset at missing out on a 'three-peat'. "I can't be upset," he said. "The two darts I threw at D16 were right on the wire and if that goes in, it could have been a different game. "That's just the way it goes. He's a fantastic player. I've been playing here and there, not so great. Maybe good sometimes. I've got to dedicate my life a bit more to get better and keep pushing him. "I keep saying I'm not beating him in finals so I've got to change things to keep matching him. "I think he enjoys the challenge and I love it as well. Hopefully over the next four months, I push him and if he does the clean sweep [of major titles] he has to do it the hard way." "The vessel left the Jobourg region of Normandy in France earlier, Sky News understands. It was then met in the Channel by two RNLI boats who took the migrants to Portsmouth. From there, the people were expected to be taken to a processing centre in Manston. Hundreds of protesters were in Portsmouth on Sunday evening. Hampshire Police said in a statement on Sunday night that a dispersal order was in place until Monday evening and that officers were "in the area to ensure the prevention of disorder". A Maritime and Coastguard Agency spokesperson said: "In response to a report on 6 September of a small boat heading towards the Hampshire coast, HM Coastguard sent lifeboats, an HM Coastguard helicopter, an HM Coastguard aeroplane and HM Coastguard Rescue Teams. "Border Force, Border Security Command, Hampshire Police and South Central Ambulance Service were also sent." It comes a day after anti-illegal migrant protests blocked the Port of Dover. Hundreds of masked, black-clad men blocked road access to the Kent port. Videos showed demonstrators marching through the town and chanting "Stop the boats" as dozens of police officers followed. Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds told Sky News's Sunday Morning programme that peaceful protest is not "dressing up in costumes" and "disrupting people's lives". He declined to comment "on the security and policing side of it" when pressed on the apparent unpreparedness of Kent Police, who described the protest as "spontaneous" in a statement on X. On the same programme, Reform UK's economic spokesman Robert Jenrick also condemned the disruption, while saying he understood the frustration with small boats crossing the Channel carrying migrants."
